1. Eternal Sunshine / Ariana Grande

Ariana indeed "run pop." This is a perfect pop album. Conceptually bold and consistent. Deeply personal lyricizing. So vocally satisfying and stacked. Sonically unique while still being irresistibly addictive and catchy. "Positions" is my favorite Ari album and then it's hard to choose between this one and TY Next for the second slot.

2. Wait Til She Gets Her Heart Broken / Tyler Lewis "I stay blaming my empathy, cause I don't want no enemies, usually I'd brush it off, but sorry, not this time, I can't sweep it under the rug" Arguably R&B... Those runs? Lethal. I discovered this girl off a meme. She was singing on some talent show in Britain and her voice kinda stopped me in my tracks. I did a deep dive and discovered the following clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xxtaBHA-fE I've been following her for a couple years on social media and finally a few months ago she dropped a record. It's fucking perfect I listen to it front to back honestly a couple times a day. You're welcome for getting put on, this girl's gonna blow up no doubt.
   

3. Dopamine / Normani "You're fuckin' with a star with a mean face card." Poor Normani this album performed so underwhelmingly and was considered like the flop of the year. If you avoided it for that reason, please check it out. It's so good? "Big Boy," "Lights On" "Candy Paint" are some of my favorite songs of the year and technically "Wild Side" is on this album (this single dropped like years ago lmao) which is a modern classic as far as I'm concerned. Normani is that bitch- justice!!
   

4. Hit Me Hard and Soft / Billie Eillish
   

   "when I said you,

   you were the love of my life" Billie Eillish and Finneas are pop musical geniuses, they never disappoint, I get the hype, this album is fucking gorgeous and dope - go ahead billie.

5. Access All Areas / FLO "I don't catch no Z's W's in my circle" WE STAN A GIRL GROUP!! I was pumped for this album cuz these girls have been all over my social media all year with their covers and yeah the album def doesn't disappoint. I feel like its been many years since we've had a big girl group out that sings down- these girls are no joke, check them out on youtube. I'm wearing out "In My Bag" and "Soft" mainly - the harmonies and vocal production is so tight the whole things great and like these girls are singing.
   

6. Quantum Baby / Tinashe "Now I got standards

   give a fuck how you feel" Tinashe makes such good pop music that feels so very her own genre. She's truly a pop star to me. Don't @ me but I fucking love "Nasty" it's almost the dumbest song ive ever heard and does not go with ANY of the other songs on this record but I feel so sexy and cute when I bump it. "Red Flags" is great, I turnup for "Getting No Sleep" , "No Broke Boys" is an anthem we love obviously.

7. That Ain't Not Man That's the Devil / Jessie Murph "Georgia line felt like Heaven's gate It broke me inside." Dude this girl is 19 lol?? What a talent. Her voice is crazy. This is more bluegrass country than pop but I wanted to fit this album somewhere bc I was like really blown away by her unique voice phrasing and heavy lyrics.
   

8. Coyote / Tommy Richman "I go full throttle all those supermodels." BOPS I tell you! Bops on bops.

9. God Said No / Omar Apollo "And I don't see you anymore, but the words you left me are always in my ear." Don't sleep on Omar Apollo. Sorry i'm over writing and just wanna get this done lol.
   

10. Everything I Thought it Was / Justin Timberlake "Your lips were made for mine,

    and my heart would go flat-line" Duh. I'm always here stanning JT. "Selfish" was one of my favorite big popular songs of the year. I get the rest of the album flopped but it's really good. Honorable Mentions: My Kind of Country - Mickey Guyton Short N Sweet - Sabrina Carpenter

    Cowboy Carter - Beyonce I wish I could say Brat but I swear I only like two songs and hate the rest lmao still love you charli she has at least like 5 better albums imo.
